Bandi Sanjay Condemns Owaisi’s Comments Against Modi
Hyderabad, July 29 (NSS): State BJP president and MP Bandi Sanjay Kumar today condemned the comments made by his party’s rival AIMIM party president and Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi against Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s decision to attend the foundation stone laying ceremony for the construction of ram temple at Ayodhya.
He said that he was condemning the statement of Owaisi on the issue. He said that it was not good for Owaisi to make such comments at a time when arrangements were being made to build the temple of Ram, who is worshipped by all Hindus of the world. He said that the comments made by Owaisi against the Prime Minister were against the spirit of Indian constitution. Citing that respecting all religions of the country is called as secularism, Sanjay said that Prime Minister Modi was attending the event as the chief guest as per the aspirations of the Hindus from across the world. He said that the ram temple was not belonged to only Hindus but it belonged to all Indians of the country.
He said that it was a matter of pride for them that Prime Minister Modi was taking part in the event as the representative of crores of people of the country. Referring to the statement of the Owaisi that the disputed structure had a 400 year old Babri mosque, he asked as to who demolished the thousands of year old temple that existed in the same place before the demolition of the mosque. He made it clear that the temple was being built with the consensus of all the people of the country after the verdict of the Supreme Court of India. (NSS)
